painting I did for the TennoCon art showcase 2 years ago.

I was still figuring out a things about myself and my art back then, and though I finished this piece in time, and it got an honourable mention, I kept feeling increasingly dissatisfied with it as time passed. I kept looking at things I could have done better and wanted to correct/improve, before I upload it anywhere. But I also kept postponing doing so...
until 2 years later I'm still here with the original painting :/

and while I'm still not really satisfied with how it looks, having given it some thought, I really don't mind anymore.
this was my first attempt drawing these two characters and I didn't really have a good idea who they were. still! it gave me a foundation to build on.
and given how obsessed I am with these two, this piece became somewhat of a fond memory that I look back to to see how far they -and I, too- have come since then ^^

...am AM still super proud of that Zariman in the background ahahaah
