*Spoilers for Epsilon Delta Vol 3.*
After being accepted into a interplanetary transportation guild, Nara Lark's first job she had was taking the remains of some fallen soldiers to their home worlds. Normally the Imperial Military would do this, but even in the more remote reaches they only go so far. It is then up to the families to either leave them at the bigger military cemeteries or arrange for the remains to be moved to more local locations, paid for by the military. Her Guild leader told her he understood if she refused this one, once he saw the names. This was a slight shock to her because this was the first time she heard anything about her half brother being killed. She took the job, transporting Pvt. Brian Lark and Pvt. Dougal Kro back to their home world. This is the first time she had been home in ages. Upon arriving at the port and giving her condolences to the Kro's (family friends), she waited around to see who was going to pick up her brothers remains. When it was obvious no one was coming, she went to the officer in charge, and after a records check she was cleared to sign for the remains. Kro's father notice what had happened and offered to have him buried next to Kro at the military plot they arranged. She thanked them and asked if she could have a few moments alone. She went back on The Aerie (her ship) and grabbed a bottle of whisky, stood next to the coffin. With a nod and toast took a drink. "Sorry no one came to pick you up buddy. Your dad I understand, he problem doesn't know yet, but mom? Well I guess the bitch is too busy with the twins to give a rats ass about us. At least I was able to get you on The Aerie at least once. Go Raibh Suaimhneas Síoraí Air (Eternal Rest be Upon Him). She leans over and gives the coffin a kiss, wipes away a tear, then indicates they can take him away. With one final look back before she boards The Aerie, she sighs, and proceeds to start her new career.
