I couldn’t find my tripod for my Cannon! I was soo mad.

Got a little time lapse with my phone, no good colors, but you can see the curtains of light moving.

I once visited northern onatario canada, the borealis was amazing, so dynamic!! you could almost feel the earth buffeting along its orbit. this far south it was just a glow, but amazing it GOT this far south! looked at the group that caused it on the sun, wow what a monster!

It was hardly a glow to the naked eye here. However I’m on the outskirts of Denver Colorado, light pollution here is terrible!!!

Honestly, when I first saw it I thought it was clouds (forecast called for clouds and possible rain)

Then I saw the movement and that I could still see background stars!

And it clicked. I set my phone to film a time lapse and searched for my DSLR tripod,…. To no avail.

Of course, it’s truly overcast here tonight.

Beautiful! You're very lucky to see it. Where I live in Michigan either it's not visible or there's too much light pollution blocking out what is visible.

So jealous. As per usual, here on the Piedmont Plateau, a week of heavy overcast, lightning and rain, heavy at times. It will clear up once the show is over. Happens every time something cool is in the sky.
