Ave! Today marks the day to celebrate the big day of the Kremling Kommander himself, King K. Rool (His birthday's on May 19)! I decided to draw him going in a new disguise, and while we've seen him as a pirate, mad scientist and boxer, now he's decided to go as a Roman emperor! He presents himself as Emperor Klaudius Roolius Augustus Krocodilus, or Emperor K. Roolius for short. Wonder how DK will be able to fare against him this time! I would love to see him and the Kremling Krew go as Romans in a future Donkey Kong Country game, if only Nintendo would bring them back for good, as we managed to get him in for Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Happy Birthday to the Kremling King! Oh, by the way, yes, I based his outfit after King Koopa's Roman disguise from The Super Mario Bros Super Show episode The Great Gladiator Gig.
