This piece looks awesome. I love the colours chosen, especially the different array of greens, which give that feel of a natural lilypond.
I also really like the looks of the wings as they rest on the calm water, which could show that either he's resting after a long flight, or maybe preparing for the journey that's yet to some.
Anyway, it looks awesome. ^^

Awesome piece, I love how the wings seem to be heavier because they've gotten wet, like they're weighed down. I don't see enough artists who do really expressive anatomy in wings. The facial features are very expressive, as well, but they seem slightly off-center to me.
