My journey into the world of drawing cartoon animals started over Memorial Day Weekend 2004, and I consider Memorial Day to be both the anniversary of the Geoterra Project and my journey drawing anthro/furry art in general.
Even as my interest in and ability to create art wanes as time goes on, I thought it's important to commemorate this anniversary. When I used to say "I have art older than some of my watchers" back on DA in the 2010s it was a joke about the site being overrun with children, but now it's not an exaggeration.
There's not really much else to say. I've learned a lot of things over the years, and this definitely highlights both how far I've come, and how far I've fallen.
Find Me On:
FurAffinity ◈ Weasyl ◈ Ko-Fi ◈ Inkbunny
It all started with two little saber-fanged hyena kids in ripped-up clothes (because they like to play rough and explore) taking a break from playing rough and exploring to enjoy some ice cream.
Even if there will still be art after this, it definitely gives me a much-needed sense of closure in some strange way.

this rules.. the 2004 drawing is extremely cute and you matched the energy so well. the sharper lines of the first one contrasted with the soft edges of the new one. the warm surrounding shading you use and the crayon/colored pencil of the old one. what a wonderful redraw. happy 20 years of funny animals.
