Vera is a mostly serious woman, but when she needs to unwind and have some fun she may kidnap the little canine currently in her grasp.


Story proper is below, if you'd like to read it. Will likely post a costumed version of them later on.

It was a peaceful, if slightly hectic day in Bakersville. Vera Agapov had been dealing with the stress of arranging her family's portion of the local festival. The very pear shaped polar bear slammed the book down she was working in with a loud thud.
Vera: "THAT'S IT!! I need some stress relief or I'm going to go bonkers! Где мое средство от стресса корги? Hmm, he's probably at his home by now..." She donned a "Lone Ranger" style mask in addition to her purple crop top before squeezing her massive frame out of the doorway and went towards his home, knocking at the door when she arrived.
Unfortunately she was not greeted by Todd, but his darling Doberman roommate
Darlene. Darlene: "Uh Vera, what's with the mask?"
Vera: "Who is this Vera? I'm "The Masked Bear!" She said with all the cheesiness of an old Saturday morning cartoon.
Darlene: "Uh huh, Diese Frau ist offensichtlich nicht richtig im Kopf. Now what can I help you with 'Masked Bear'?"
Vera: "The little dog known as Captain Corgi, I need to foil his dastardly schemes."
Darlene: "I'll go see if he's in. You wait right here."
She then discreetly snapped a picture of Vera to show Todd, before rushing upstairs to inform him of the polar bear at the door. Coming into his room and saying: "Vera is being really weird on the front porch." She then showed him the picture.
Todd: "Ah, the Masked Bear is back. She gets like this when she gets too stressed out. She'll be 'kidnapping' me when I get to the door." Darlene: "You mean this is a normal thing between you two?!"
Todd: "Used to be, she hasn't done this in a while. Let's see, where is my... Aha! There it is." He then put on a yellow cape and eyepatch. "Masked Bear versus Captain Corgi. Darlene, love you and I'll see you in the morning."
He hopped up and kissed her cheek before rushing down the stairs, before getting scooped up and carried off by Vera.
Darlene: "There isn't one normal person in this entire town is there? Zumindest ist er gut zu mir. I wonder what she's going to do to him though? Great, now I'm talking to myself. Just so long as I don't start answering myself I should be good right? Right."
She then dropped her head and went back inside.

Meanwhile at Vera's house, or rather: "The Masked Bear's Bear Cave" the dog and bear duo were having a bit of playful fun.
Todd: "You may have foiled my last nefarious scheme Masked Bear! But you'll not mess up my next plan! Mind controlling the innocent citizens at the town festival!" He said before letting out a villainous cackle.
Vera: "Oh no you don't Captain Corgi, not on my watch! I'm going to put you in my own personal jail."
Todd: "You don't mean???" He reeled back in an over the top manner like a vampire trying to hide from the sun behind his cape.
Vera: "I do indeed you fiend!" She then sat down on him, pinning him under her glacier like backside.
Todd: "Yargh! Foiled again!" As he playfully struggled to get free, Vera having made sure to not cover his face up.
Vera: "Give up yet? Ready to reform and be a good boy?"
Todd: "Never! I'm a snapping, snarling sinner!"
Vera: "Well then, a life sentence for you!" As she leaned back and covered his face with her snow white rump, before shaking herself a bit. "Ah, thank you for this Todd. I appreciate it." She then laid down fully engulfing Todd under herself, before rolling over to let him have fresh air. "Want me to make us dinner? I've got some of those fancy sausages you like, you know the ones I put with the stir fry veggies?"
Todd: "That sounds perfect to me. Though hehe, I'm a bit stuck at the moment."
Vera: "Oh? Where are you?"
Todd: "Between two super soft snow banks."
Vera: "Oh? Oh dear! Sorry! I got a little too into it." She then reached in and pulled him out of her ponderously pudgy posterior and stood him up. "I didn't hurt you did I?" She said in a worried tone.
Todd: "Nah, I'm good. It'd take a lot more than that to do me any real harm."
Vera: "D-do you think me wanting to play around like this makes me seem childish?" She said with a slight frown.
Todd: "Of course not Vera! I know you get under a lot of stress what with all the responsibilities you need to take care of. Heck I'd say if you didn't relax and have fun every so often you might lose that spark of joy in your big blue eyes. And that would be just awful." He said giving her a little scritch behind her ear.
She then sat up partially and hugged the smaller dog in a tight embrace. Vera: "Спасибо, милашка! Want to help me with dinner?"
Todd: "I'd be delighted Vera. Милашка? That means cutie right?"
Vera blushed as we went to the kitchen and prepared a delicious, if simple dinner followed by some gentle G-rated cuddling in her bed that night.
