The Empath Flame is an odd, specialist skill. Deemed impractical and too dangerous to use by most pyromancers, this ability allows ones to reveal how one truly feels about the user of said flame. However, this works the other way around, causing the user to also reveal their thoughts to ones nearby. This can affect multiple others and too many passerbys can cause massive stress on the user, sometimes leading to massive emotional damage in some of the worst cases.

But it does have its uses. For Fortune, her practicing this skill is how she met Frederick, her husband. To use this skill around others intentionally, however, means there is some high level of trust between those nearby.
