What's "Anthrocon"?

It's the world's largest anthro convention that's held in Pittsburgh, PA.

Aww. Well, eventually I'd like to be able to do some travelling and go to some of the other cons too! One a year is just not enough! :<

Awesome! Luckily I found several people to share a room with this year otherwise I would have never been able to afford it. Still, I'm not going to have much spending money since I've been without a job for a few months but I'm hoping I can sell some stuff in artist's alley!

Aww, that sucks. Though I guess knowing what some people probably go to conventions like that for does warrant a bit of worrying. Still, if he's your boyfriend he should at least trust you; unless you've given him reasons not to or something.

well the only problem is Anthrocon is so big now (like 4,500 people) that its not easy to find someone unless they have a table and signs or prearrange a meet.

Well I do plan to get a table in Artist's Alley on one of the days if I can. But we could plan to meet somewhere too! I could text you when we're there or something.

well maybe we could make plans on trying to meet. I wouldnt mind getting a sketch in one of my sketchbooks. A word of advice if you do get in artist alley. Have a large sign made ( at least 8 by 11 inches if not bigger) of your art and fan name. that way people walking past you in artist alley can see who you are.I know Ive walked past people in artist alley and found out later "oh so and so artist was there"

My plan was to make a giant maybe 1/2 scale cutout of my characters Mars and Eel and put one on each side of the table (and maybe give one of them a sign with my name on it). I haven't yet figured out how to do that though. I wanted to try and do them with watercolors but I won't have money to buy supplies. Hopefully I can just find some nice big pieces of cardboard and I could do the picture digitally and just print it out and piece it together.

well dont make too big of a sign. I dont know if youre allowed to put things on the floor.whats best I think is maybe a 16 x 24 inch sign you could put on the table.
