As angry and hostile as Sharon was during her young adult years, she tended to be lot more mellow when she was with Melee... but even he sometimes found himself facing the brunt of her wrath, especially early on in their friendship when she had yet to fully trust him. Wonder what set her off like this...?

I've been wanting to commission this artist for quite some time now, but never was able to due to bad timing; he would always open whenever I was at work, and his slots would always fill up before I even knew what was going on as a result. But I got lucky this time and managed to catch him opening on one of my days off! You bet your ass I jumped on that chance as soon as I saw it! Even knew exactly what I wanted him to draw, hoping to see a take on this old sketch I made years back, as I felt it's been awhile since we've really seen Sharon go off on Melee like that.

Really love the expressions Zalar did here; Melee's meekness on full display, really wishing his friend would stop yelling at him but not really knowing how to calm her down. Sharon, meanwhile, looking just the right amount of angry here as she gives that timid lizard a piece of her mind. I also really like how the artist remembered to take their height difference into consideration; most people I commission tend to overlook that detail (an admittedly small one that I usually let slide), but Sharon's actually supposed to be about half-a-head shorter than Melee. He also noticed from the ref material I provided that the two have different tail structures! Yes, Sharon's tail is longer and more flexible when compared to May's. Good eye on that artist!

I promise she's not like this with him all the time! The two are indeed friends! Really!
