More "reviving underutilized and forgotten characters" art, this time featuring Casey, my first (and so far, intentionally at least, only) "femboy" character.

Unfortunately, like a lot of my characters, Casey doesn't have a whole lot of characterization or development, with his whole deal thus far being that he's a femboy. That's literally it. Over the years, I've tried to add to him little by little, but never really gotten too far. I haven't even gotten around to giving him a surname, and maybe like a few other characters of mine, he'll never have one--not that he doesn't have one in universe, of course, just that nobody ever knows it or uses it.
He's always been one of Reed Rhoades' friends and part of the punk/rock scene, another outcast that hangs out with Reed and Mick at rock shows and, when they inevitably start a band, may end up being the vocalist. I like the idea that he and Reed have been friends since high school, perhaps when he was facing bullying or harassment or simply being excluded, Reed was the one to stand up for him. I can definitely imagine Nico Reynard in his Teenage Delinquent Shithead phase bullying Casey, unfortunately...
He definitely behaves in a more feminine manner and is quite flirtatious and suggestive, but his gender/sex is male, and he's likely actually bisexual or pansexual. I do actually like the idea that, when it's time for him to actually commit to a partner, he winds up with Scarlett.
I've yet to decide what sort of career or skills or education he may have, the only art I ever drew of him even suggesting gainful employment was also the most masculine he's ever appeared, where he was dressed like a bootleg Chippendales waiter. The idea of him working at one of the bars or clubs definitely suits him though, and would give him plenty of opportunity to be social and outgoing, which does seem to be another one of his traits. Circling back to the idea of him and Scarlett pairing up, it would make sense if they were both working in the same bar and hit it off that way, perhaps with a bit of friendly work rivalry between the two growing into an actual romantic connection.
