portrait of (most of) my bee-sona, working on dialing in the more realistic style of shading. very happy with how this one turned out. :)

i've been wondering for a bit about how to represent my fursona - whether it should be representational (of myself) or aspirational (toward what i want to look like/be). i think probably best to decide on a case-by-case basis, at the cost of making my "look" more inconsistent between works. but hey, fluidity is always cool. this time, i thought i'd go more aspirational with the body type.

featuring inspiration from a piece i can't find unfortunately. (mostly just for the idea of a chubby bee portrait, though.)
