It seems that Rick isn't the only one who might be familiar with Roxanne. Whatever the reason, Safrina has clearly had enough, and it looks like she and Rick will have to finish their bout some other day. Meanwhile, Rick remembers that he actually came down here for a reason other than getting into a tussle!
Only a little bit more to go for this comic. I really hope that you guys have been enjoying the journey of this with me! It was a little more of a challenge this time, getting the page done before the end of the month, but I'm pretty happy with it. I'm learning and figuring out a lot of things about my comic-making process and how to get the look that I want, but I also need to learn a bit more about time-saving measures. Somehow, despite having less action than the past five pages or so, this page took longer than any other to finish. I'm not exactly sure how to shave off more time without sacrificing the quality or just going black and white, but even then I feel like it could take just as long to shade and detail elements so that their appearance doesn't get muddled. It's a challenge...
Oh, and Nymph, the little mouse guy on this page, was surprisingly fun to draw, despite not contributing anything to their conversation besides being cute.

Not quite! Rick followed him down here in the first place. Way back on the first page here he was also shown off by Benjamin as being a furson he's investigating.
