Darlene Kuscheln had gotten back into the swing of things living with Todd Baker. She was still a bit unsure of his robot bodyguard Adlai, but figured that she was mostly harmless.
She was waking up from a hot night seeing the comparatively taller mechanical canine standing over her. She rolled and fell out of bed from the surprise, landing on the floor she said: "AAAAHH! Was machst du!? Du kommst hier rein und machst mir Angst."
Adlai: "My apologies for frightening you, I came to give you your wake up call mistress." She said with a smile and a wagging tail.
Darlene: "Well could you not do that again? Scared a few years off my life with that. Mistress? Why did you call me that?"
Adlai: "Noted mistress, I shall give you a more gentle one next time. To answer your question, I refer to Todd as master and you as my mistress. I've been asked to take care of you as well mistress Darlene. Shall I bathe you now?" She said with a smile.
Darlene: "Don't you dare do that! I can shower myself, keep your paws off of me."
Ignoring her demands, Adlai took her off to be cleaned. Quite the ordeal as one could imagine, bathing a dog that doesn't want it. After getting her dried and collared again Adlai said: "Now then, don't you feel much better mistress?"
Darlene: "I'll admit I do feel clean, but do that again and I'm cutting your charging cord." Adlai: "Understood mistress."
Darlene: "Don't you have a corgi to torment?"
Adlai: "I bathed him an hour ago and sent him off to work mistress. He wanted us to get to know each other better. So, what shall we do on your day off?"
Darlene: "Uh, I was just going to do some shopping, and a bit of housekeeping. My room is a bit of a mess."
Adlai: "Perfect! I'll come assist you mistress."
Darlene: "Only if you promise not to call me that in public."
Adlai: "But of course, master has me under the same conditions when we go out. It keeps the odd staring to a minimum."
Darlene: "I can imagine. Well, let's get into town then." As the lovely ladies loaded into Todd's convertible to go get the week's supplies. Little did they know that they were being followed....

Alex Smith was at it again, trying to ruin his brother's life. What way would be more insidious than kidnapping Darlene, and reprogramming Adlai?
Having his gang of wolves follow them through the day, he waited for the perfect time to strike. When the two had went into separate departments in the store, the wolves made their moves.
Darlene was trying on a nice sundress, wanting to look nice for Summer parties.
A grey wolf named Emily grabbed her in the changing room and snuck her out under her trench coat after knocking her out cold with a small piece of pipe.
While Adlai was off looking for a new set of collars, thinking it would be amusing if she, Todd, and Darlene had a matching set. Before she could react, Jason and Marco a white and grey wolf respectively, tased Adlai at the base of her neck causing her to shut down. The two then posed as repairmen and carted her off to the van, meeting with Emily to take the unlucky ladies off to Alex's hideout:
The abandoned factory in the next town over.

Alex was busy programming a code to take control of Adlai's body, knowing his usual methods of hypnosis wouldn't be effective on a machine. This was truly his most vile plan to date....
Alex: "Hasira! Do you have the ropes ready for my brother's darling Doberman?" He barked at his hyena henchman.
Hasira: "Y-yes sir Mr. Smith. What were we doing with these girls again?"

Alex: "Must I always repeat myself to you? I told you this morning. We are going to reprogram the robot to be loyal to me instead of that goody-two-shoes brother of mine and make her into a killer rather than a guardian."
Hasira: "And what about the Doberman chick?"
Alex: "Well you and the gang can pass her around and have a good time after she's tied up, but once you, Jason, and Emily are done with her I have a little something extra planned for her."
He said holding up his gold pocket watch. "Brother dear will never see it coming..."
