Look - we all know the best buy and expiration dates and all that are a little flexible - but they’re certainly NOT flexible when you’re shopping at a mysterious antique shop staffed only by an ancient Chinese man, who has a terrible habit of disappearing and reappearing in an instant.
If you find yourself in a shop like that in the first place, you should really check to see if the calendar’s stuck in the 1980s - and even if it isn’t you still really, really shouldn’t eat anything they’ve got in stock. Honestly, @Midaras, you should feel lucky! You took a real risk - and it could’ve gone far, far worse… there are fates worse than berrydom!
