WHOOF! Here it is, the big one! This one's for 000bluebird000; ever since I helped him design this lovely lady, I've been looking for an excuse to draw her, and well, what better time than this? I uh, may have gone slightly overboard, but I'd say it was worth it!!! So soon after my last best-drawing-I've-ever-done (link), I've somehow already topped myself! Y'know, not to toot my own horn too much :P
It took me 11 days of work spread over 17 days, during which time I researched Japanese flower symbolism, learned how to do up a kimono (and that this is technically a yukata 🤓), and of course looked up plenty of reference for koi, Japanese maple trees for the background, and water reflections for the pond!
