I'm sorry you are in a simmilar situation. I know he's watching us. I know he's happy and free

I have an Uncle who's diagnosed with Cancer, his family doctor didn't properly screen for it, right now he's going through treatments, lucky to be alive since his kidney's were shutting down on him and he was found in time barely conscious.
I do understand the feeling of helplessness, lost my father to Cancer when I was 14 and a Grandmother much later on. Never easy to watch them suffer.
hopefully you hold onto the memories of the good times, the times you've both laughed together, the things you both shared together.
I'm sure that he would want you to remember the better times not the bad, to keep those happy memories close.

He did wish it. And when I debated one last touch my friends protected me from seeing him in a way they Said they knew I'd not need. He has donated his body I pray it helps save a life . His was so agressive...so many tries of diff chemo. And complications.. no one deserves this illness.
