Prince Matthias falls asleep because viruses aren't active when they're outside of a host. It's kinda like an instant torpor-like state or something.

Oh... and behold my pathetic attempt at drawing a human... and then blurring everything anyway, because the 'camera' should still be focused on a microscopically tiny character... *facepalm*.

Anyway, I decided to make this part of the scene play in a supermarket this time, instead of somewhere outside. It makes more sense, because a supermarket is an actual essential place that people were allowed to visit during a lockdown. Prince Matthias has more of a chance to be inhaled by a new host, while his former host is in a supermarket. Most of the people visiting this same supermarket wear a mask, yet there is still chance for Prince Matthias to be inhaled by a new host; some people aren't wearing a mask at all, some might not be wearing their mask correctly, the mask is open at the sides (I've seen this often), or the fabric of someone's mask has large enough holes in it and may let in or out some germs anyway.

Or... Prince Matthias is MEANT to be inhaled and infect his new host, because it's literally written in the script.

Virus Attack is a science-based fantasy webcomic about COVID-19 and how the human immune system fights this disease. However, keep in mind that I'm only a virus enthusiast and that I never went to a school to learn all that I know. I mainly learned everything from either books or scientific websites. I also have ASD-related learning difficulties and thus I might've interpret and/or read things wrong. Some of the lore that I use for the creatures in this comic are made up and more based on the animal models that I use for them as well.
