Through the misty clouds they could see the dry yet greenish land below. Spotting the mountain wasn't hard to see as they made their decent, but from where they were dropped off, they would have a bit of a hike after they landed. One by one, they opened their parachutes and made landfall. The moment Shadow and Sue touched down first, then the two vanished in their own means. After that, the others were not too far behind, touching ground and then packing away their chutes. Firefight pressed the comes on his helmet, "Shadow, Sue, report."

Instantly, Sue was in front of him again, "No personnel near by, but it looks like there's a small group building near the part of the mountain."

"Hostile?"

"Shadow's looking into it, she should have answers in a moment."

"That's right, and it looks like we have what the US was trying to avoid." Shadow's voice came in over the comes, They have some heavy guns and some explosives."

"That explains the long run we gotta make." Firefight said, then he touched the button on his helm, "Hold position, Shadow. we'll be there to back you up."

"Planning to wipe them out and clear a path so the can escape?" Harley said, "We'll have it done in a matter of minutes."

"Negative, our first objective is reaching our troops." Firefight said, "Everyone move out, and safety off. Once we shoot for them, we head for the mountain."




Taking their time and moving where Sue guided them, they traveled along some of the rockier areas but still saw this group for its real size. Firefight struck a glare at Sue who just smiled and shrugged back. This group consisted of about three semi-trucks, and a couple pickups, each with men either wielding guns of their own, or loading up much larger guns that were mounted on these trucks.

"Looks like those guns were made to stop airdrops," Deathless said as he looked through binoculars, "The missiles... those gotta be for use against our those trapped on the mountains."

"Understood," Shadow said over the comms. "Consider them gone."

"Wait," Firefight said, "We can't waste ammo on just this. We've gotta take them out carefully." He looked over to Circuit, "Can you detonate the missiles from here?"

Circuit Grit nodded her head

"Do so on my command," Fire said, and looked to the others. "Sue, step in there, and take them on hand-to-hand combat with Shadow. Dean and Harley will follow after, and then us. I want a truck or two intact, make the trip toward the mountain easier."

"With Pleasure." Sue Dan Blitz smiled, "even I gotta say running there would suck." Then she was just gone in a blur.

"There a reason we don't just barrage them with our powers?" Harley asked,

"After what happened the previous times, Dalton's been getting talking to about keeping this hidden." Firefight said, "If we're gonna do this kind of stuff, we were suppose to make sure no witnesses were left outside our troops. Now, we're going to do so as little as possible. Last resort kind of things."

"So you're using those whose powers are hardest to see." Harley thought about this, then readied her pistols, "We're ready on your call, Commander."
