Smirnov watches helplessly as Blacksad and Weekly are lost to him, laughing wildly at the devious roller going on at their broad soles. His own large pair of feet was tied to the same table, and he realizes the only reason he doesn’t have a roller at his paws is because the bear currently holding him and the others captive wants to make his torment personal. He wants to wreck the German Shepherd with his own bare hands. And, of course, the tools in that bag in the floor.
If only he could turn back time and tell his past self not to investigate the waterworks… but him and his stupid decision is sitting there, about to suffer the tickling of a lifetime.

Months later and much has changed. Blacksad, Smirnov, and Weekly have gone missing - presumed dead. The Mob believes the 3 are sleeping with the fishes at the bottom of the bay ... but in reality the Polar Bear faked their deaths and had them moved up north in a remote cabin miles from civilization. They are his plaything slaves now, subjected to tickle torture on a daily basis by him or close friend/family that take care of them when he's out on the job. They try to remain strong but are slowly breaking spiritually and mentally. Meanwhile a trio of Donna Blacksad (John's Sister), Dorothy (Smirnov's Wife), and Rachel Zucco (Weekly's friendly rival/partner from another press) still have hope and are on the trail to rescue their loved ones ... or get roped in to join them for some laughs.
