This took longer than I thought it would

Done while streaming. Ill post a link to the recording if it saved.

Most of it was saved! http://www.livestream.com/strygchan.....a-b1b59cc2eb24
Some of the color corrections can be seen here: http://www.livestream.com/strygchan.....9-a0fd04337294
The rest are cut up in 2-5 minute chunks due to connectivity issues. Looks like the entire drawing was recorded though! That's a relief.

Very nice :) I love how you use soft, smooth, colors,, but they are strong at the same time!
I want to ask, for most of your work, what is your file size? This one you have posted at 1250x965, but what was the actual dimensions? I ask, because I like to have a nice file later for if I want to do something else with it, but I like to find out what other artists do :) Thanks!

Neat, it's nice to actually see her in her element for once :D
I like the colors, you always make pretty neat choices for your palette!
Two things though; I think the beginning of her tail should be up higher (though then her body shape wouldn't come off as fluid anymore), aaaand that's a slight case of rubberarm in the back!

I WANTED TO WATCH YOU DO THIS!
I actually got a text during my first break at the new job saying you were streaming today... I was so sad! Now, on the piece itself...
I love the soft transitions here! It really does get across the idea that she's actually in water, especially since you made sure to add the sunlight coming down. I've actually got no critiques for this one, since it's giving a more overall view of Mik and the focus is less on the details and more on the image itself. Plus, any minor thing I didn't choose to look at I can pass off as "Oh, it's the water skewing the viewpoint." >.> I was thinking about mentioning the fade from her leggings to her heels and toes, but then it occurred to me that since she is underwater and the feet are a little further back than the torso and head is, it actually made sense, so rather than a critique I can only say that that's wonderfully done.
I forgot her tail was dried out on land; when I first looked at it, I was all "Holy god her tail is huge!" before it hit me that it's at it's proper, full size.

Right, I wanted to mention just how elegant this piece is; it may not be your most detail oriented piece, or the one you spent the most time making sure was absolutely correct, but it's one of my personal favorites that you've put out. I guess it's just the serenity and simplicity of what she's doing... and for the sleek, smooth character that Mik is, she goes perfectly with the piece. It's absolutely fascinating, and something that I'll be going back to admire again and again.
Its a bummer that I didn't get to see you make this masterpiece. Ah well, I still get to see it myself so all is not lost. Mik is such an intersting character. I love her design. especially the teeth and tail. Her wardrobe is lovely as well. Your art is top notch, I look foreward to seeing more works
