I am a thing long ago broken. Whose cracks pour both a sublime pain and profound darkness. My divine darkness, whose hands reach over a lifetimes work...an unending debt in penance. For every indentation, every crack, that blackness within screams for mercy. Oh have mercy...I cannot see mercy.

Certain characters reoccur for a multitude of reasons. Some are spiritually significant. Others are symbolic and extend beyond the scope of their initial appearance. The rabbit Mellania illustrated here, represents a long standing expression of mine, the imagery of cracked and broken rabbits. In suffering, in feeling alone in that suffering, cracking and breaking is a very powerful image to me.
The game itself is absolutely brutal, definitely one of the hardest games I've ever played.
