The fake "westworld" style series this fanfic is based off of is actually a horror/suspense series about a group of people trapped on the planet when an unusual solar flare knocks out communications and accidentally unleashes a malevolent AI called "The Rogue" loose on the planet. The Rogue was initially just the default AI suite used for any robot actors playing the part of an antagonist. The minor disruption moved it up by one unit in the folder structure and effectively freed it to infect any of the robots on the planet. The pilot episode ends with the lead characters escaping the spaceport where The Rogue has just finished destroying all the ships they might use to escape.

I have no intention to ever do anything else with this but I have still spent a lot of time working out the storyline for that fake TV series.
