Geh, hard to find good references of rebel flight suits... Ended up using a combination of comic books and action figures to come up with something approximating what it should be. Of course, now I'm terrified of wrecking it by messing with it. I'm thinking I might need to make his hips a bit less narrow... among any number of things. Feh, guy bodies are hard. =P By the way, my forray into the arena of drawing humans has a dual purpose... First, I need the practice. Second, Michael Stackpole is one of Stellarcon's author guests, and I'm a huge fan of his books. So this is my lame attempt to make up for being a hopeless fangirl. Hee ^_^ I am a HUGE StarWars fan, and the X-Wing series of books are my absolute favorite of all the novels (most of which I own). Corran's been one of my favorite characters since I first read the books. I dunno if I really did Corran justice, but I thought it might be kinda nice to have something to hand poor Mr. Stackpole in return for me squeeeing, bouncing all over the place, and dumping a pile of paperbacks in his lap for autographs...

I've read many of the X-Wing series, but it was a long time ago... Thinking back, they were probably some of my favorites as well. I also liked the Han Solo trilogy, and I think my other favorites would be the Timothy Zahn series.

Well, I'm nowhere near as much as an informed "fan" of star wars, than I am someone who enjoys watching the original 3, (non SE). But on reading about your pic, It reminds me a little of the (awesome I may add) suits that the rebels wore in episode 4 A New Hope, in the beginning when Lea's ship was first captured in the star destroyer. I especially though the helmets were cool looking. XP
