I figured these two need to spend more time together.
Fred asked Nick if he's open for a day trip into the mountains, and Nick said yes. He also told Nick to bring his gear along because he wants to take flight through the mountains too. Nick however seems not very convinced about jumping off a cliff, worried he'll brake his neck, back, or anything else that might render him a wreck. Fred though tells Nick he'll be there for him, being the great friend he is.
Moral? Eagles make great best friends! Especially if you share the same hobbies with them!
I might make a 2nd part to this, but I don't know yet.
