A pretty straightforward pic here; a bust shot of Melee... but in 3-D! Admittedly not the first time I've commissioned such a thing, but it has been quite awhile and I've seen enough of Scout's work to believe he could do a good job at it... and as you can see above, I was right to think such! He certainly looks adorable, doesn't he? I think so, anyway!

As this is just a simple piece, I have little to say about the pic, though I will commend the artist for not only remembering to make the "spots" on Melee's face pentagon-shaped like in my own work, but also making sure they protrude out a little bit; I've had a hard time trying to portray that in my own 2D drawings, and a lot of people I commission tend to simplify it to the point they're indeed just some flat rounded spots on Melee's body (which I usually overlook because it's not that big a deal most of the time), so good on the artist for accomplishing that little feat! And hopefully the lot of you will like this pic just as much as I do!
