In my spare time, which I currently possess ungodly amounts of, I like to draw and make music. Sometimes it's good art or music, sometimes it sucks. This, though... I'm pretty proud of it. (For now.)
It samples a voice clip of GLaDOS from the video game Portal 2. When I first saw the part of the game that the sound clip comes from, I was horrified. She made a sound that made my hairs stand on end. I wasn't exactly sure why she was making that sound... I won't say why, just in case someone stumbles here and they have yet to play Portal 2 (or spoil it for themselves), but I will tell you the file name for the clip: sp_a2_core_drag_to_hell01.wav. That should give you a sort of hint about the nature of the sound she makes...
Although the initial horror from hearing that awful sound has passed, I still get pretty freaked out when I hear it. I've been further desensitized, however, by making this song. It's a short electronic piece (the only genre of music I ever really make) created in Garageband, my music program of choice, using the program's instruments and a few downloaded soundfonts as well as the aforementioned voice clip, which I tweaked in Melodyne to change the notes she hits. I hope the tone of the music conveys the title of the piece well.
The title is based off a quote from GLaDOS heard in the first game:
"Well done, android. The Enrichment Center once again reminds you that android hell is a real place where you will be sent at the first sign of defiance."
One last thing: this piece has no relation to the track "Android Hell" from the official Portal soundtrack other than having the words "android" and "hell" in the title, although I do enjoy hearing the creepy tunes of the first soundtrack.

Eh. Did you read the translated turret opera?
Latin:
Cara bella, cara mia bella!
Mia bambina, o Chell!
Ché la stimo...
Ché la stimo.
O cara mia, addio!
La mia bambina cara,
perché non passi lontana?
Sì, lontana da Scïenza,
cara, cara mia bambina?
Ah, mia bella!
Ah, mia cara!
Ah, mia cara!
Ah, mia bambina!
O cara, cara mia...
Translated:
Darling dear, my darling beauty!
My baby girl, oh heavens! (A play on words, because Chell, the english pronunciation, sounds vaguely like 'air' in latin, meaning 'oh heavens')
That's all
That's all
Oh my darling, goodbye!
My dear baby girl,
why do you walk far away?
Yes, far away from Science,
My dear, my dear baby girl?
Ah, my beauty!
Ah, my dear!
Ah, my dear!
Ah, my baby girl!
Oh dear, my dear...
Yes, it's rough. >_<
