Leading up the mountain, looking around in case of danger, the weapons were taken to a series of caves, where the soldiers and allied militia were taking refuge in. Inside was the cots and lits and expected equipment that soldiers could carry, but the most noticeable thing among the set up were the cots. Not one cot was empty or clean of blood.

Immediately, Frostfight took to the closest injured soldier pulled out her medical supplies, "Were the medics unsuccessful in the operation?"

"Our only medic was taken out during one of there attempts to siege our position." A soldier said, "The Evac Team that's suppose to come bail us out is suppose to get here soon, but I'm not sure if soon will be enough."

"Understood." Frost said, "After I tend to him, I'll grab the other supply and tend to the others."




While that was going on, Deathless Laceter were looking over the boxes and crates, counting ammo and guns. "A there's only a few clips of ammo for the military issue guns." Deathless said, "The rest of these must be from the militia.."

"Even these weapons are running scarce." Max said, "They'd probably have enough to hold back one more attack, and that's if there is no rocket fire..."




Firefight overheard this, and looked to Sue Dan Blitz and Shadow Blade, "Check the perimeter, don't get spotted." The two nodded and ran out of the caves. Firefight turned back to the soldiers, "Is the radio still operational?" "Barely," The Warrent Officer of the soldiers said, "We're working with copper and chicken wire here, after ours broke, trying to mix and makeshift what our allies have and it's rough.

Circuit simply nodded and walked over to the radio. Opening up parts of it and fiddling with it.

"Hey, Hey!" The radio operator grabbed her arm to stop her.

"She's trying to help. she's our tech specialist of the group." Firefight said, "You best work with her if you want this to reach a connection with Captain Dalton.

The operator froze for a moment at that, then swallowed hard, "u-understood."



Firefight watched the operator, curious to his reaction, then turned away and walked toward the weapons specialists with Harley, "How's things looking here?"

"Not good commander." Tremor Max explained, "There'd down to only a few full clips of ammo, even less grenades, and some of these guns might break from all the use they've had.

"Can you fix them?"

"That will require time, sir. " Deathless said, "And the right equipment if you want this done fast."




At that, Firefight took a breath and walked away with Harley, "I see why we were brought, these people were in over their heads."

"We don't even know how many we are fighting off during this." Agreed Harley, "For now, we should take this one step at a time. We don't need to beat them, after all. Just hold out until the other force of troops comes to clear them out."

"How long is that suppose to be again?" Firefight asked,

"Hey!" The Radio Operator shouted, "We got a signal!"  Immediately, Firefight and Foresight ran over to the radio as Circuit backed up. "Commander Dalton, this is Firefight, we've reached the soldiers. Situation is more dire than expected."

"You think I don't know that, hothead?" Dalton said back, "That's why I sent you. This is your mission. Those soldiers come back alive, and the POWs do not escape..."
