And.... what is the uptime when disconnected from the battery? how fast did they have to jumper him to it to keep him up? That Lead-Acid current source must feel nice and buttery though.. a great relief after all those half rectified, poorly filtered switching PSU's.

He'll lose consciousness almost instantly when he is disconnected. Losing power doesn't cause him any harm besides losing consciousness. A nice stable supply of power does feel good and one makes sure to have good power supplies for charging oneself.
