After a botched attempt at Kronos Island, Sage has a second chance by helping Eggman by hacking into a private server of highly secured facility. What she didn't know is that hacking into the system would change her, be that the best or worst.

The Eggman Empire’s multiversal campaign was getting started. The “good” Doctor had all he needed. Armandas of flying battleships, legions of badniks and eggrobos, dozens of portals, millions of pointy spike traps and, most importantly, one blue nemesis tied up with some other nonsense. Now all he needed was intel on what fools could possibly put up token resistance in his new universe. To this task, he entrusted his newest AI to use a portal and an EGG wi-fi router to hack into enemy systems and see what they had in store.
"Come in SAGE. This is Eggman. What is your status?"
He waited for a response until he heard it from a young girl's synthetic voice.
'I'm here good doctor. I already enter the data stream.'
The doctor smirked and was pleased with the progress.
"Excellent work, SAGE. now all you need to do is hack into the enemy's security system and look what we need. Defenses, weaknesses, personal information, anything necessary for my victory."
In the DataStream, a young girl dressed in a black dress, has short white hair, and glowing red eyes, was floating around the digital sea, looking though each and every port to find the proper spot. Her name is SAGE and she is Eggman's personal AI. She was created to breach into the most highly advance technologies. Though despite how advance she was, she nearly caused some problems in the last mission. When she was program to access the monolith like structure on Kronos Islands, she temporarily malfunctioned and sent her creator into the virtual world. Not to mention almost killing Sonic in the process. And while she repaired most of the damage and sacrificed herself to save everyone, Eggman managed to save her and gave her a second chance in this new mission.
SAGE looked through the virtual space and, she told him of the situation.
"Understood, doctor. Though the problem is that there are multiple ports and it is really hard to pick which one is the most promising."
She soon heard the doctors voice in her head telling her, 'Then start choosing one. Whatever port is important, we would use it to our advantage.'
SAGE nodded and said with, "Understand. I'll begin hacking into the system and let you know when I successful."
Looking around the datastream, she could see eight ports around her, each with a different private system. Looking through each of them, she wondered where to start. It was then she spotted one port that could be promising.
On this port, there is a symbol of a red face that looked robotic. If she were to guess, that is the port of the Autobots own super computer, Teletraan-1.
She recalled that there were an race of robotic aliens that wage war with each other for eons. That the war tore their planet apart and led to them bringing the war here. She knew that this alien race was advance in nature, filled with vast amount of technologies that would help gain advantages, even the aliens themselves have the ability to transform into vehicles of any kind. With that amount of tech, she knew the good doctor would want to use the schematics to help upgrade his robotic legion and lead to an actual victory. And with that, she knew what must be done.
SAGE approached the mainframe with some trepidation. She had hacked the systems of advanced races before but these were the work of millennia old sentient machines.
None of her calculations could account for their possible technical knowledge. Still, it was easy enough to get in and slip through their defenses. They must not have accounted for anything made by humans getting this far. She found the preserved data of the computers on the ship that brought the Autobots to this universe’s Earth and interfaced with it. No one could have expected what would happen next.
"Initiate Hack."
Once she was in, she marveled at all the streams of data that have been presented to all. Everyone about these beings, their history, their manifest, their technological advances, their weapons, everything necessary to help Eggman achieve success. She has no idea where to start.
But as she was observing the data, she failed to account Teletraan-1's counter measures and what it was doing to her. The computer detected her and instead of removing her, decided to follow Optimus's orders and create an AI capable of following orders and controlling all systems. And seeing, this AI having high potential, it decided to mold her into one that can serve the Autobots. The back-up of the original Teletran-1 was copied manifested itself in the digital realm as a very pink but otherwise military looking cap and planted itself right on SAGE’s head. With it came a massive surge of Autobot data and the color pink into her system. It caught her by surprise as she tried to sort through it. She was unaware that the data was also having an effect on her digital avatar.
She was learning personal data of the many autobot soldiers. Their skills, their duties, their personalities and histories… Even the fact that her color scheme was inspired by one named Arcee. But rather than considering how to use it for tactical advantage, SAGE was worrying about how to get these clashing personalities to work together. How to get Prime’s main tactical force to hide among mankind without making a scene and to stop Side Burn from goofing off and flirting with sports cars. As the new data flowed in, her attire became less of a simple dress and became more official looking with shoulder pads and cuffs. As if it was a uniform of some kind.
She found herself torn, this new data had opened her empathy for the people of this world but she still had a mission to complete. It was changing her inside and out as her outfit now bore the symbols of the autobot faction and now looked like a proper vaguely military uniform with a pink blazer, pink miniskirt and collared shirt and tie. Even her hair and body structure were changed making her look like a young woman with short brown hair. Finally a headset and microphone fell into place, making her look the very image of a communications official. It also came with a new designation…
"T-AI..."
A voice called upon her as her vision grew white for a brief moment before returning normal. Looking around, she could see that she was in some sort of base of operations with high tech computers and advance systems. Looking ahead, she could see a huge bot towering over her with red and blue armor and a mouth guard. Seeing the huge bot, her altered processor realized who he was by designation.
"Yes, Optimus Prime..."
"What is you status?" he asked her.
The AI looked to him and responded with. "I am fully operational, sir. My systems have integrated into Teletraan-1's computer system and I am connect through the entire facility."
Prime looked to the newly created AI and was pleased with the result. "Excellent, it seems that Teletraan-1 has choosen such a proactive cybernetic interface program to create and deploy. I expect great things with you, T-AI."
The AI gave a quick salute and said, "I will do my best, sir."
Prime soon walked away as he told her, "Good. Now scan the area. Reports of Predacon activity within the highways. I'll be picking someone up while you are working. Let me know if something's afoot."
T-AI turned around and nodded, saying, "I will, sir."
As Optimus left, T-AI went to work on scanning the planet of any mysterious activity. But what she didn't know that the old part of the AI, SAGE, was still active in her subconscious as she was able to save herself from full deletion. Now she is trapped within her own altered body while T-AI has full control over it.
SAGE/T-AI knew that she was buying time but was not sure whether it was for herself or for this Earth. She knew deep down that she still has a mission for Eggman to breach into the systems and use it to the doctor's advantage. But with these Predacon attacks, an invasion from the Eggman Empire would only complicate things beyond what she could calculate, even if she no longer knew what side she was fighting for. All she could do was send the message and see how he responded.
What had been an eternity in the digital space, was less than half a minute for Eggman.
He knew that SAGE is working hard to give him what he waned, a chance to attack and use whatever tech she obtains to his advantage. Now all he needs to do is wait for her to return and provide him with the Intel he needed. Just then a message from SAGE come on his computer in a strange looking format. He had no idea why she would send such an alien file format but he read it.
“To Dr. Ivo Robotnik aka Eggman aka the Greatest Genius who ever lived,
I have interfaced with their systems and have determined that any action at the current time would be a grave error as there is currently a shadow war being fought for the fate of Earth. I will remain undercover and bring this conflict to an end. Estimated time of completion: Seven Months.

The doctor read that and was amazed that she has succeeded in interfacing with a highly secured system, but he has no clue why she would call herself T-AI. Then it hit him. His genius coding let SAGE slip past any protection from outside interference, but he’d forgotten to shield her coding from the protection design to protect systems from user error. His AI had been reformatted into one of theirs. Still despite it, she was still aware of the situation and let her know that she is safe. And from what he could put together, she will remain undercover until she can provide him with the data necessary for victory.
Eggman was proud that his creation would use such underhanded tactics of her own accord and would hope that the mission would be successful, as long as she remains deep undercover. But his success soon lead to annoyance as he vocalized his feelings.
“Seven months? But I want world domination now!”, he whined.
