Basically, hiatus- yes. They pop up for me all the time. I promise to return and disappear just as easily. I know I have a very small audience, and this is part of the reason.
Onto what most people follow me for: the PokèMon ROM. I plan to do some more work on it, I’ve had one person even offer to help but have only recently reached back out to them. I’ll just give the DNF explanation and say it’ll be ready when it’s ready. I have a LOT of projects and unfortunately it keeps getting bumped around. I want to put out more art or games, and I have such ideas- but they all take time and someone has already beat me to the punch on making a fat FPS. Motivation is slippery, but even then I can either force my motivation into the ROM hack, force it into some of my more practical projects, or just allow what motivation I have to flow into what it will and be happier for it. Unfortunately I have to force it into a lot of practical projects and I need to balance that out by pursuing some of the things that my motivation leads me into.
I can’t promise that I will post more regularly, but I might try to throw my doodles on here more frequently.
Don’t worry the ROM isn’t dead. I just need a little extra time to get some personal infrastructure in place, and then I should be able to expand myself into more of my passions- which may occasionally result in an update to the ROM or a picture finding its way onto this space.
