"Your mission is to hold the line." Dalton said, "Soldiers get out alive and not one POW gets away."
"Sir, these men are running low on supplies and weapons." Firefight said, "We're gonna need a supply drop or something if we're gonna hold out."
"We did send weapons." Dalton said, "I sent you. Hold the line for 4 days, we'll be coming in with full force. They'll be between an unstoppable force and an immovable object." Firefight wanted to say more, but Dalton interjected, "Fire, Get it done." And then transmission was cut.
Firefight took a sit back and looked around him. Frostfight was already tending to soldiers best she could, and even getting a couple off their feet. There was two soldiers doing a count on weapons and ammo, and another two he remembered were on patrol outside. Firefight backed away from the comes and those around it, and tapped the comes in his helm.
"Sue, Shadow, Report." Fire said,
"All clear up here, sir." Sue Dan Blitz said, "Yeah, nothing too close, but there's definitely stuff on the horizon." Shadowblade added, "I can't quite make it out since it's looking like speckles through my scope, I'll keep you posted though."
"We could check it out if you wish." Sue said, "Probably clear it out."
"Negative." Fire said, "Our mission is up here. To boot, if things go south, we'd end up too far away to help. Just stand by and keep watch for now."
"Understood, commander."
After that, Firefight walked over to the main soldier in charge, "Permission to speak with the prisoners, Please."
The soldier looked back to him, and nodded, "They're deeper in, a cave just twenty feet farther up."
Firefight just nodded back and walked out. He looked down the mountain and took out his binoculars again, Like Shadow said, there was just small bits of movement down the mountain, what it was couldn't be made out though, they currently looked like specks of dust. After a while, he continued his march up the mountain to one of the other caves. Walking inside there were soldiers looking after some men that were tied up and kept separate but hung blankets.
While the foreign militia looked these new members strangely, the American soldiers seemed to be more at ease. From there, the weapons took shifts in between and through the night while everyone else stayed in shelter.
The next morning came around, and Firefight was the first to start moving, he ordered Sue to take patrol, and then he walked farther up the mountain. The secondary cave couldn't have been farther from the one they were at, it just took a moment to spot.
Walking over, two soldiers came up and got in his way, "Hey, What are you doing here?"
"Permission to speak with the Prisoners, please." Firefight said, "I was authorized from further down the mountain."
The soldiers looked to one another, and then stepped aside. Firefight walked past them and looked to the POWs; dogs some foxes, mostly canid-like creatures. He was looking over each one, but there was one that locked eyes with him. They didn't just lock eyes with Firefight though, this wild dog was looking at the weapon, dead in the eyes, and was smiling...

When I first read this, something cane to mind. It was from the game black mesa, the hecu. And I wanted to put it in here as a joke for this situation. On the radio it would go:"Firefight this is blood hound three, reading you loud and clear, moving to your location to support. ETA one mic! Sit tight guys!"
In black mesa a bloodhound is an hecu tank like apc, basically it's armor support
