Sarge and Chomby's Weight Gain Drive! [Consolidated]
Just as a final thank you for all the help you all gave me during that time, here's the consolidated set of panels for the weight gain sequence!
The weight gain was a definite success. I was able to get a new (used) car and got it insured and everything. so, that really made the entire process a lot less harrowing.
I had grown up with the mindset that bad things happen to bad people for a long while. So, whenever something bad happened to me, I assumed I was bad. As such, I had tried to make sure I never did anything bad... but then bad things still happened. It took a while to finally realize that: Bad things can happen just because. There doesn't have to be a reason. They just happen. The situation I was in was a big example of that. It was just several things that happened to, coincidentally, become bad all at once. That can happen.
I felt like I didn't deserve all that kindness, though. So it was hard for me to get over my pride and just say: "Hey, let people be kind to you for once."
Anyway, that schpeal out of the way, here are results. Chomby found a new desire -- get fat enough to have his belly touch the floor while he's standing. It seems very alluring to him.
~~~~~
Week 1
Sarge was at his breaking point. Too many bad things happened all at the same time, and he was on the verge of tears.
"Are you going to be okay, Sarge? Your stress seems to be very, very high right now." Chomby asked.
"I'm barely holding it together and trying not to cry." Sarge said. "So, I've got a last-ditch idea. Care to join me?"
"I mean sure... but what is this idea?"
"Well, you've been needing to regain some of your strength, Chomby. And I've been needing to regain my fat reserves, right?"
"Riiiiight?" Chomby cocked his head to the side. "So, are you suggesting what I think you're suggesting? Are you finally gonna ask people for help?"
"Yeah." Sarge sniffled. "Yeah, I think I gotta. I'm out of options."
"Well, I'll be there to support you through this. But, why don't we make it a little more interesting?"
"How do you propose we do that?" Sarge asked.
"Let's try and fatten each other up. See who can make the other get fatter!"
Sarge's ears perked up. "Oh, that sounds like a fun idea. You're on, big guy!"
Week 2
"I dunno, Chomby. Usually I don't have the best luck going to these conventions." Sarge poked at his shirt. "Besides, I think my shirt's gotten smaller. When did that happen?"
"Revenge. You snuck a hefty song into my playlist, so I snuck one of your 'slow gain' potions into your dinner last night" Chomby said. "Plus, you said so yourself, 'we gotta appeal to our fans!'"
"That guy with the warhammer? I don't know him. I think He didn't come here for our panel, he just wanted directions to some battle thingy..." Sarge sighed as he looked down at his belly. "I can't see my feet anymore,Chomby."
"I'd imagine. Been watching your belly grow. Might I say it's quite a good sight to see -- seeing you fatten up." Chomby snarled with a smirk. "Despite being great at your potions, you don't seem to have a way to counter them, do you?"
"Why would I counter this?" Sarge lifted up his belly and huffed. "I just... forgot what it was like to not see my legs anymore."
Week 3
"Woah, Chomby, you're looking... really fat," Sarge said.
"You're one to talk," chomby grumbled indignantly. "Someone's messing with the frequency of my headphones and playing music to fatten me up! What's your excuse? You ate out an entire buffet before our concert!"
"I think it looks good on you though, Chomby." Sarge cleared his throat. "Though, I'll let Morgan know."
"Oh, uh... you really think I look good?" Chomby asked with a blush.
"Yeah. This does put you in the 'getting fatter' lead, though. Lets me gawk at you more." Sarge stuck his tongue out. "Though, may need to get a tailor at some point. Your suits looking ready to burst."
"Yours too." Chomby folded his arms and did his best to smile.
Week 4
"Well, store said they don't have any 10xl shirts..." Sarge turned his phone off. He sighed. "But, I don't think Artie would mind if we didn't have any shirts to wear."
"I don't usually wear clothes in the first place." Chomby huffed and hefted up his belly. "Though, I think these suspenders and pants are really making me look fatter than I am."
"Chomby, you've done nothing but eat music for the past week. That IS how fat you are." Sarge teased.
"Really? I didn't notice. Huh." Chomby poked his belly and frowned. "I kinda like it."
"Good, because I'm liking it, too." Sarge leaned into Chomby and let his belly press against Chomby's. "Though, I heard from a little birdy that you snuck another weight gain potion into my drink."
Chomby rolled his eyes. "Gee, Sarge. How'd you figure? Is it that belly flab of yours that's now going past your knees."
"Is it bad?" Sarge asked.
"No. I just think you look cute with it." Chomby coughed.
Week 5
"Free suits? Man, you sure have a lot of connections, Chomby!" Sarge said.
"You said we needed formal suits. I just happen to know a good tailor." Chomby blushed.
"Dating a good tailor, you mean? Squandered certainly has you wrapped around his finger!"
Chomby looked away. "He's cute, okay? And... he's very sweet... and kind... and..."
"I ship it," Sarge said.
"Oh, hush up! When you get a boyfriend-"
"Or girlfriend." Sarge interrupted.
"Or girlfriend..." chomby slapped a hand to his face. "When you get EITHER a boyfriend or a girlfriend, I'll get to tease you about it!"
"I look forward to it." Sarge laughed. "I think you two look cute together. It makes me smile to see you so happy."
"But I don't ever look happy. How can you tell?" Chomby asked.
"I've known you for years, big guy. Just because you're physically unable to smile, doesn't mean you don't show signs of it." Sarge leaned over and gave Chomby a kiss on the cheek. "Platonic kiss to show I love ya, big guy."
Chomby's eyes lit up. He began to twiddle his fingers. "Uh... well, I love you too, Sarge.... You're one of the sweetest people I know."
Week 6
"Come on, belly! Just touch the ground!" Chomby snarled as he tried to shove his heft to the floor. "You've gotten this far, just a little more! Come on!"
"Really growing into your weight, huh?" Sarge asked.
"I just want it to touch the ground." Chomby said indignantly. "I've... uh. I've always wanted to get fat enough to have it do that just by me standing still."
"That can be arranged in the future. But, for now, I think Pathos can help you out a bit!"
The two stared at each other for a moment. Chomby scratched his head. "Oh, right... we were doing a competition to fatten each other up."
"Indeed. did you forget?" Sarge asked.
"Not gonna lie... I did." Chomby sighed and scratched his belly. "I was so obsessed with getting this thing bigger. I kinda forgot the entire reason we were doing this in the first place."
