It was the registar's fault, not FA's. Modern registars are all shit so most sites all have the same issue. There was no data breach or anything so I think this is a massive overreaction.

Also Twitter is hot garbage, I tried using it for like a year and it's an easy way to destroy your mental health, not to mention it's algorithm actively suppresses NSFW artists which includes vore artists and regularly eats up your art for AI slop. It's also almost impossible to grow a following from scratch there not to mention all the racists and cryptobros.

As for other sites it's very hard to come by sites that are actually friendly to kink and 18+ artists nowadays, Eka's exists but it's a bit niche and a lot of the newer art sites have weird NSFW policies while other art sites are just not active enough.

So TLDR this is not the move I'd make at all.

I'm not moving to twitter, it's just a way to contact me. I don't plan on trying to turn it into my main platform. Also, I don't draw much NSFW content anyways, so that would be irrelevant.

Even then I'd pick anything other than Twitter, trust me it's awful. You'll be screaming insanity while being flooded by bots and conspiracy theory racists selling you doge coin in a week. If you survive that the weekly furry Twitter drama will be waiting for you. Mastodon I wouldn't recommend either since it has a lot of technical issues and it's "instance" structure over-complicates it's experience by a lot, Bluesky would likely be better tbh.

You could move to DA and/or Eka's Portal

DA could have some little restrictions with you can post but your art don't break them, so don't worry about that (Also is pretty easy grow up there)
Eka's is a page specialized In vore art, it can't practically restriction

While Eka's is always a good pick I can't for the life of me recommend DA to anyone in 2024.

On the contrary. I liked FA so much that I migrated to it from dA. It doesn't matter where the blame was placed, the point is what happened did happen, and it very well could happen again. The entire security of this site was compromised and even their twitter was attacked. This is no longer a site I feel safe on.

But that's the thing, the site *wasn't* compromised at all. The hacker had no access to any site functions or sensitive information. They *only* had access to the domain itself, which didn't really do much except allow them to redirect traffic elsewhere. And if their twitter was taken, wouldn't you not feel safe there either? Again, this was a juvenile hack at best and nothing of value was in danger. But as I said, I'm not here to convince you one way or the other because it just seems like you're ready to go regardless. o/

If someone breaks into the post office and steals all your mail, was your security compromised? Not saying the site has great security, but in this particular case FA wasn't really at fault
