Walking over to this prisoner, Firefight knelt down and stared at him. The wild dog, bound and on his knees, still looked up at this seeming coyote wolf soldier with a smile on his face.
"So, what's so funny to you?" Firefight said, "Thinking you'll get out of this?"
"You're people already lost." the wild dog said "They'll break you in life, and you'll burn for ever afterwards."
Firefight just looked at him, that stare still, "And you think that would intimidate me." He stood up he a foot closer toward the wild dog, "Tell me, who of us all burns first? The leader?"
"It makes the best example for those who look up to them." the wild dog chuckled,
"Then you've already lost." Firefight started to walk away, out of the cave. "Just how high do you stand on that horse?" The wild dog shouted in ridicule, "What you see from above is not salvation!"
Walking out, Firefight smirked to himself, thinking about how that prisoner tried to distraught him. Threats with fire, were not the best choice. He tapped the comes again, "Frostfight, assessment, How are the soldier's doing?"
"Rough sir, the militia with us weren't trained, not even like our combat medics. I'm doing the best I can with medical supply on hand, but maybe half of them will be able to get up without issue."
"Got it, keep our troops healthy." Firefight said, then switched the communications to the entire team, "You hear what that means, we have civilians among our soldiers. As far as they need to know we are soldiers too, we need to keep it that way. We can't slip up like in Sudan, No matter what, most we use is our weapons."
A series of "Yes sir" came in response back as Fire came down the mountain, but Sue Dan Blitz still was on the comms. "If that's the case sir, I am gonna need some backup." Sue said, "We got some people coming up the mountain and my pistols won't be enough with out my speed." "Grenades ready then, and hold the line." Fire said, "Max back me up, I'm heading to her position." He drew his grenade launcher, and started running down the mountain.
