Just an opinion, but I don't think Ran is actually lying. Vizlet would throw a shitfit if he was "sourcing" yinglets without authorization, and considering her diplomatic credentials, that would get back to Trademaster Viracroix. I got the idea a while ago Ran's allowed to play with his toys all he likes, with a generous budget and stipend, as long as he plays by the rules.
These yinglets attacked a House Ivenmoth flag officer and her brother in arms. Vizlet was probably helping cut them up herself.

That particular "sample" may have been sourced from individuals that Kass won't mind seeing dissected, and credit where credit is due to Ran for specifically picking it for that reason to make Kass slightly more comfortable, but let's not beat around the bush, Ran probably has official dibs on any yinglet cadaver that the guards happen to find in the city.

There's also the simple fact that nobody really seems to care about the average guttersnipe male scav, even the yinglets themselves. Most of them, particularly those outside the enclave, are fully expected to die young anyway doing something stupid, and it would be virtually impossible to keep track of them for "proper" burial if the yinglets even have such a thing.
They do know abut germ theory. Ran talked about this with an explorer discussing artifacts. also stuff like the planet rotate around the star.

Might be on purpose, on an new planet you want people to know how to make stuff including iron tools. But base provides weapons and explosives who are very good.

Not familiar with it, all moons moves in the sky, that is outside of geostationary orbit or planet or moon is tidally locked.
But if moon is in lower orbit it might move fast compared to the main moon. It would also make it unlikely to be natural, yes mars has two in low orbit but no other large moon.

I had a thought that maybe possibly that tongue is related to "the incident in the alleyway" that took place a while back, or rather to it's perpetrators, tho I wasn't really expecting it to be true haha. Fun for the one and the other to actually be connected. Neat.

Consider the spit shooting out two projectiles on either side, like a video game spaceship. Pew pew! Pitooee.
Alternately, it sprays out and thus two jets fire forward, while the middle ramps down off the tooth and fires downward. Useful for spitting down on people, only ruined by the fact people tend to not really be Under yinglets.

Honestly, I don't blame her, she did almost get "you-know-what" by the leader of said party and they did just yank her away like a goat. So, I can tell there's still a grudge between the bugger and her and whoever was involved.
But on another note, it is interesting that they understand the concept of microscopic life and the ability to observe it with such detail. That kinda shows they're pretty far in the field of medical science. And that makes me wonder where else they excel where others haven't.

Hello OOPsites! I'm here to remind you once again that there's a place called "Top Web Comics" https://www.topwebcomics.com/?home=3 that compiles comics from various places. There's a bunch of cool stuff there. They have monthly votes, so you can support OOPs there. You can vote once a day per device, so your PC, laptop, tablet, phone, etc.
I've noticed that you can sometimes even get in extra votes from different IP addresses, or if you're disconnected from your IP and open up again later.
It closed out last month at 1267 votes and 38th place. It's currently at 1146 votes and 58th place. The highest it's reached is 36th place, and the top vote getters seem to end up with something close to 20,000 votes.

Makes me wonder which one's tongue it belongs to. I'm supposing it's the one Elim stepped on; looking back, it seems to match the most color-wise and he definetly seemed to have been killed. The others I was thinking were only incapacitated after a single-hit from Elim's mace. Although, I could be wrong. I just know one of them was able to sustain one hit before getting back up and shoving Kass over.
