Far to the south of Clearwater is a vast desert with miles on miles of nothing but heat and sand known as the Great Desert. Sitting in the middle of that desert is the city of Oasis where Queen Serena Iscari holds a benevolent rule as well as a desire to witness feats of magical prowess. Often referred to as the 'final test' for prospective Guardians, the magical protectors are sent to spend a month at Serena's palace to train and then eventually partake in simulated arcane combat with her. A formidable, almost goddess like mortal, Serena exudes confidence, wisdom, and beauty. In reality though, she loves being able to meet and get to intimately know those who are sent to her, making memories and forming long lasting bonds.
