You know... I don't get a lot of requests for me to draw an insect character. People will ask me "can you draw this... or that?" and I'll answer: "As long as you can give me a reasonable example image of the character you want I can make a decent go of it." And so here we have a lazy bum of a housefly drawn for Bug Toomey, and what a character he is! I know I could have gotten a lot more Ralph Bakshi in the design of this, but I did try to think of the character types that would feature in his movies when drawing this.
