Depends, if he's letting them drop down rather than swing down they would necessarily have to be straight possibly (physics was never my strong suit). In any case I'd probably leave them how they are as I've tried to keep everything in the picture smooth and flowing to look more soft and feminine, and then I kept the straighter lines for the background so it was easier to tell what is background and what is not since it's a fairly dark picture (the only except being that the leading edge of the ear has a fairly straight line, f you warp the ear too much it ends up looking odd).

I exaggerated the curve of the fingers more than I usually could to get the more feminine look I wanted (I can actually bend my fingers back that far), plus they are more 'hand like' when I usually do more hand like handpaw things.

XD I know what you mean, I think the main problem with them is the lack of shape, for example, on the underside there is just a curve. But y'know, if that's what you were after for the effect it gives then that's fair enough, just not something I would have done personally :3
