Either way, being a first born means you sometimes get forced into obedience of keeping things in order to the point you can become numb to it.

Truthfully there's a lot of Victor in me. I'm the eldest child so I know the extra pressure ans responsibility that goes with that. I kinda had to be third parent to my sisters so was quite controlling of them mainly because if I wasn't then It would be my head on the chopping block. The minute I moved out of the family home (left when I was 17) none of it was my concern anymore. I wasn't in charge and suddenly I was free to learn about who I was.
Problem here is that Victor is in his thirties and still acting as if he's in charge whilst everyone has moved on with their lives.

lets see 24 when i came out as trans youngest of te pack of 3 elder sister and elder brother but most strong headed of all cut te connect whit my mother and elder brother first support then knives in te back i don't let them eat my food of my plate they don't know how to deal with a ptsd/gad person and no ptsd army thing different one care group mentally physically and bodily abused and broken 10 years long i can control it but i can also switch off

I also felt the emotion behind the 2nd "Oh Family" statement... such feeling in those words...i hope a cat fight doesnt break out... if anything Star's base buddies better protect her, they seem more like family than Star's actual family in this comic.
(Maybe sarge will have a change of heart and protect his corporal?)

It's upsetting seeing how many comments on this post the finger at the one who ended up projecting their abuser, like a scapegoat. I know how horrible it feels to be in his position because of becoming numb to my past traumas that I worked through in therapy.

I am genuinely upset by the level of violent threats in this comment section without even asking "WHY IS HE LIKE THIS?!"

Seeing so many "shoot first, ask questions later" type responses triggered a lot of old trauma for me and it's really upsetting to see how much there is without trying to go deeper to the cause. It's something I had to deal with constantly as the person in front for a lot of what happened during my traumatic events and partially projecting a bad parent during a mental breakdown.

I already know that her dad is probably steaming with fury about the whole ordeal that he sent her brother to deliver the news about how he's feeling about it!!
The only thing I could think of why Annie's dad didn't come out and tell her himself is probably because he probably didn't want to make a scene in front of everybody or he is busy watching the new little one that was born recently ago!!

Even my dad complained about almost every little thing that I got myself entangled in with him!!
So what I am say is that I had a strict father too that wouldn't let things go because he would get me all hyped up at him and not in a good way where things almost did not end well for anybody involved in my heated arguments with him!!
