A very interesting departure from your normal subjects but still intriguing and very well rendered nontheless. I especially like his pose facial expression and the foreshortening on his arms and hands.
I would very much love to see more drawing like this if you have any lying around. And a very well hidden pinecone is right at home in the storm of colors and shapes. :D

Thank you! The way I drew the facial expression ended up bothering me so I am glad to know if that stands out as being something I didn't actually screw up on.
what do you mean by "like this?" I doubt there is anything here in this image that I was doing for the first time, and generally if I have completed-ish pictures I put them on the internet, but I can see how finding something specific among them could be difficult.

The fact that it was a departure from the usual stuff they draw had held me back from actually inquiring about getting a commission initially, but fmirsokp has been super friendly and easy to work with!
