some games get small updates that add a few tiny tweaks that end up with the game being internally the same, webfishing's latest "tiny tweak" resulted in me having to spend way too much time trying to get the offline test version working again and a bit of idiocy on my part when trying to get all the assets back over and working again, no new clothes or features but it should now work with the new version

just like my last attempt, the model editing side is pretty janky but i hope it gets the mood down, and i also edited the main shirt and added a random chance to burp, no other cosmetics are properly modeled so things might look weird with some combinations
this is not affiliated with any official or unofficial webfishing developers and modders, however i did use code from the PoppingBottles mod as a base for my player.gd code just to get the silly random burps working
installation process:
0. if you don't already have a copy of webfishing, buy it here (not endorsed or affiliated, game's just fun)
1. install the latest GDWeave Release, and extract it to the same directory as WEBFISHING.exe
2. put the FatModBeta folder into its own folder, usually located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\WEBFISHING\GDWeave\mods\FatModBeta
3. launch the game and do your usual tasks and let me know if this breaks, its not compatible with Nyoom or other mods that hardcode your player.gd file

I think it can be a nice thing to return to every now and then, and if it's like Lethal Company it should stay popular. I don't see a reason why any endearing game with long lasting traits should die.
Plus I've yet to play the game, but my BF gifted it to me (thank you Maxym)

yeah!!! i dont think it Should die but i feel like ive had terrible luck whenever ive tried to play these types of games (bought fall guys, everyone else stopped playing, bought among us, everyone else stopped playing, was extremely worried it would happen to this game) but im excited for any future updates they have and it should still be a really good friend staple no matter what!!!! and that's absolutely fair and i feel like i have some friends who got gifted but havent touched it yet, its the perfect gift for close steam friends right now and im curious if it'll participate in the winter sale
also catbox is really finicky with certain isps, you should be able to download the png and rename it into a zip but if that doesnt work i can upload a mirror

im not sure if there'd be much difference outside of just realizing the boobs, and i could make a quick update when I get back into this just to add a vague toggle for that even if im not sure what would need to change

awwwww, thank you so much!!!!! i am really proud of how this turned out even as a last minute project, thankfully i had less trouble getting everything to work compared to the bail or jail mod but there was still some model export fuckery™️

you're absolutely fine dun worry!!!!! i dont mind there being another one, and from what ive seen sdgfhjkjkhdgfhjksdgfkhj this is already immediately better than my mod and im down to help out if i can!!! pretty much all i did was a simple model swap and cortorting things to hell and back in blender
with how the current version of the mod works, right now im basically hijacking the function to play a sound to check for the meow/bark by their name, and then doing a random chance to turn it into a burp instead, so i think i can Technically implement it but i'll have to find all the ids for the species mods that are already out there/commonly used
fat male seems to be the most common request for this mod so i might make a lazy variant of the main model for it, but with how janky my code is i think it'll have to apply to everyone else's model if you toggle the setting

i apologize for not doing any new updates in a while for this, i've both been feeling very creatively exhausted in general even with simple art stuff/kinda fell out of wanting to mod the game just because of the stress of even getting it running in the first place, maybe i'll make a no-script-required variant even if it doesnt have the burps n stuff
the download link itself works for me, sometimes random isps will block catbox from time to time so try seeing if it works better on a phone network/other wifi or whatever, worst case scenario just shove the dowbload link into the wayback machine and get it from there

i still need to fix it and ive barely touched the actual mod files in a long long while, all i need to do is either find a way to modify just part of the player.gd file without having to export it all at once, or just ignore the custom burps so i apologize for this being broken
