This piano solo of mine might be hard to follow, but this is bits and pieces of the original soundtrack to the first German version of Wheel of Fortune, from 1988 to about 1994, entitled Glücksrad. It has had numerous hosts over the years, but the original hosts were Frederic Meisner and Peter Bond, with Maren Gilzer as puzzle board assistant. This music comes from that era.

The show's runs are subdivded over multiple networks from 1988 to 2002, a brief revival in 2004, another revival from 2016 to 2018, and the current revival on the air today running since 2023.

Interestingly enough, before the U.S. debuted its children's version of Wheel entitled Wheel 2000 (a new Wheel 2000 is in development, by the way), Germany had their own kid's version, entitled Kinder-Glücksrad.
