I do like the line style. :3 You make this in Illustrator? It looks vector-based. Nice variation without pixels in the lines.
Also... Your eyes! They're so cute! lol I've been trying to do something like that with eyes for awhile, but I can't get it right. I don't know why that's so hard for me, but it is. lol

Hee yeah its in illustrator. I decided to make each line a shape..... this takes forever but the variation comes on its own and looks great. If you want to see the layers on the eye i can send you that. I only did 2 layers but the blur tool helps a lot. I view a few different styles on how to do them cause I am trying to get them down myself XDD
Also, have you thought about deviating from the black outline? Like maybe adding color to the lineart itself to add some vibrancy to the color. You might really like what you get out of researching "Halation." I started applying it to my paintings and boy does it make a difference.
Actually yes I have. I didnt do it for this one BECAUSE..... i thought it was cute on this one XDDDD. AND! Actually i am trying to figure out how thick I am going to set up the lines for the okami pieces. I am going to do a texture effect with those in the black that will look like paint strokes. I am doing a big commission at the moment that will have colored lines.
