they screwed around with upload rules and basically made it so most babyfur/abdl stuff cant be posted. it looks like theyre gonna redo the rules again because it was received very poorly

also stuff like, one of the (now former) staff tried to imply that anything with "fertilized eggs" was gonna be against the rules because theres an embryo in them and therefore its technically a minor? that got clarified pretty quickly to not be the case but why the hell did the mod say something like that ahaha

A friend has been waiting on an appeal ticket for over a month and a half.

I do see things are starting to in the right direction now, but... I am unsure how much time will need to pass before I can trust them again. I had financially supported FA only for my money to be used to discriminate against my friends, imply they are something they are not (they were handing out CP-level bans for SFW age regression!), and then ghost them. Some are self-employed and rely on furry for income. Their livelihoods have been threatened.

The pending will-they-or-won't-they has really been stressing me out.

i hope your friends appeal gets taken care of soon, but the big problem is now is most of the staff has quit so theres not many people to look at those tickets.
i mean i think its pretty fucked up that people are having to send ban appeals to start with, i think the staff should have gone through and fixed things without people having to send in appeals, but i dont even know if their moderation tools/backend even allow them to look at a list of recently banned users?

an even not on the 2.7 babyfur/abdl fromt, they even recently banned a few people by claiming they were posting AI art, and even when the artists sent them screen recordings of them drawing and completing several images, they were told theyre gonna stay banned

i of course hope things improve but i have absolutely no expectations of that happening. my account is almost old enough to vote and i just dont see it happening, but god would i love to be proved wrong haha

While I hope FA does pull itself out of its current mess, I've been preparing for the worst by getting involved with the development of Weasyl.

Glad to see weasyl getting a bit more love and care put into it. Been 5 years since I quit being an admin there but the folks who are still there are good folk :)
