Another silly little character that's been living in my head rent free since 6th grade! :D
She's the one and only crown Princess of Avondale. A Kingdom located in one of the largest forests on the continent.
She shares a love for Nature, People, Swords, and secretly: Magic. She's snuck out of the castle on more than one occasion. And on more than on occasion this got her kidnapped by Rival kingdoms, Bandits, Black Market thugs, and Charming young men who want to sweep her off her feet. Each time she's gotten herself out of trouble all on her own. After the Third or Fourth time, She had a Personal Protector assigned to her: Gorad. It's a lot harder for her to sneak out, but every once in awhile she slips away and strolls the Kingdom or its nearby forests for plant specimens, forbidden books, or conversation. Her parents are both a bit old fashioned and air headed, as such her kingdom is often in a predicament. They've arranged for Aria to marry Ryu, the prince of the Northern most kingdom up in the mountains to help stabilize the kingdom. Unfortunately before their wedding and around the time of Ryu's coming of age ceremony, the kingdom vanished overnight due to the Dark Lord Sortilege making his grand appearance and show of force there. Now she's being wed off to a prominent and insufferable young man from another kingdom. Her parents think it will give their kingdom stability to weather the rise of the Dark Lord Sortilege, but Aria discovers it's all part of his plot to steal their Kingdoms most protected artifact.
Fun Facts:
- Aria is childhood friends with Ryu! They know almost everything about each other, they even took baths together in the hot springs up north when they were little. D'Awww....
- Aria is content and happy to Marry Ryu, as her parents tried to pick many other less likable suitors.
- She talked her Personal Protector into teach her how to use a rapier, her sword of choice. She gets secret lessons.
- She's absolutely terrified of heights.
- On her 11th, 12th, and 13th, birthday she secretly wished for a Magic Rune to appear on her body, but sadly, none ever did. She actively tries to talk her parents into unbanning the practice, or at least the study of magic.
