So the time has begun. Quite possibly the most metal car I have ever owned has come to me...the days of fuel injection, green emissions, and passive disposition are gone.
It shall be epic. Just like my failure to understand carburetors ATM.
Really, though...the interior needs a lot of work. Standard issue cracked-ass Chevy dash, sun-damaged upholstery, and entire fucking oak tree worth of leaves in the ventilation system, and enough jagged metal sticking out of everywhere to make Stuntman Mike cringe. But hey, work in progress.

...And in a supreme gesture of good faith, the Spirits of the Lulz cast forth a great honor that day...the steed, once humble and grounded, had become a pegasus.

Yeah, it will, for the most part. Safe I can manage pretty quickly, as I have been working on it some pretty much every day, but pretty is gonna take some more time. Summit Racing is going to be very happy with me in this next year. XD
First major order of business is new exhaust / intake tuning. Guy who I bought it from was an import fan, and tried to mod it as such. Applicably, ripping out the catalytic converter, and calibrating to carb for waaaaay to rich a mixture. So it chokes on ignition sometimes, and sitting still for more than a few minutes creates a suffocating haze of fumes everywhere. And, when he took out the cat, he replaced it with some sort of ghetto resonator tube, but failed, before welding it in place, to check for debris inside of it... So now there is a bolt or a rock or something stuck inside that rattles around at idle RPM. So that's all gotta go...going to get some ceramic headers, and a Corsa true dual X pipes. Shit's gonna sound like a monster. =D

Thank you =3
The rattle was coming the catalytic converter. Guy before me had hollowed it out, and left a round, steel piece of scrap in the welded cuff over the inlet pipe. Kind of hard to describe. But still, hurr durr...he could have put more time and money into some nice headers and high flow cats instead of the snazzy paintjob or the dumbass spoiler it had on it, LOL
