yep. cause you cant just buy any old garbage disposal. it has to be specific to match the pipes and wiring hookups!
same with oven/stoves.....except with those you have to purchase the plug separately and install it on the stove YOURSELF.
on the plus side, i know how to do that now. on the negative side, FUCK EVER DOING THAT AGAIN. im going to pay for installation next time because fuck all that
