Artwork for the introductory Yarŭ textbook I am currently writing. This is just to fill an otherwise blank page facing the table of contents, and to have a little fun doing it. I might tweak it a little.
The small characters at top center read "e'azú", "(the) possibility/possibilities (of) writing".
Yarŭ is written in two main scripts. The most common one (which is elaborated on in another post here) is azúqrŏ, or "talon script". However, in regions where clay is plentiful, a cuneiform adaptation of azúqrŏ known as azúqwái ("edge script") has become increasingly popular.
