Thickshake Tanuki and the "Deviantgraph Pole" (animation)
Thickshake Tanuki explores the idea that the present-day DeviantArt logo (which has been in use now for 10 years) was based on... a power pole!
This is something I've always thought about when it comes to the DA logo, and since Thickshake had previously never heard of DeviantArt (he was created 2 ½ years after I left that site), he's found the whole thing confusing!
This animation was based on posts I've made on Bluesky and Cara about DeviantArt's logo.
